eats life

travel diary: los angeles ‣ january 2018

This past January I had the rare chance of traveling to Los Angeles for a company’s holiday party. The trip was quick but sweet, but I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to bring Alex along as my plus one. We had the best stay at the Jeremy West Hollywood (highly recommend!), and did touristy things like visiting Melrose, the Museum of Death, and ate our way around Downtown LA.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Jeremy in West Hollywood, modern decor and comfortable bed in a great location.

If you visit Melrose without stopping by Alfred’s … did you even go to Melrose?

We drove to the Museum of Death after our short visit on Melrose. The Museum was definitely interesting, however it was intense and obviously not intended for the faint of heart. I do highly recommend paying a visit the next time you are in LA if you have the stomach for gore.

The finale of our trip was dinner at Little Sister in DTLA. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Alex and I actually ordered a second round of their pho rolls because they were just that good, and we’ve never ordered seconds on any items before .. ever.
